The Ask:
It was simply a broken window. But why did it break?
The Challenge:
The dilapidated latch broke off in high wind, damaging the timber sash and subframe so that hinges could not be easily refitted. A relatively small job, yes, but to complete the repairs required glazing, carpentry, lock repair and painting skills.
